Kat Janowicz, MSME, MBA, CEM, LEED GA, ENV SP is a leader, strategist, and serial entrepreneur with over twenty years of international experience in commercial and industrial infrastructure for the energy, transportation, goods movement, marine, maritime, and construction sectors.

Ms. Janowicz brings a wide range of expertise in sustainability, energy, and resilience. She developed business strategies for the national and international energy and transportation markets and remains a driving force for energy planning and efficiency procurements. Accomplished in process and performance improvements, international contract negotiations, and multidisciplinary engineering and business consultancy, she coached, mentored, and advised, both entrepreneurs and established firms. 

Kat Janowicz is the President of 3COTECH, Inc. and Co-Founder of Braid Theory, Inc. She advised and coached tech entrepreneurs for PortTech LA and Cleantech Open.

Ms. Janowicz serves as Secretary-Treasurer on the Harbor Association of Industry and Commerce Board of Directors. She is also Treasurer and Vice Chair at the USGBC-LA Long Beach Branch.

She is an active member in the local chambers of commerce and professional organizations, including LA Area Chamber of Commerce, FuturePorts, and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Transportation Business Advisory Council (TBAC) Legislative Affairs Committee.

Kat Janowicz is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Envision® Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), LEED Green Associate, and frequent speaker at various industry events, including Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA), US Green Building Council (USGBC), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and Professional Environmental Management Association (PEMA).

Ms. Janowicz holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
